Kitdesk is a product by DOMISSOUND Co, a UK-based audio engineering and hire systems business. When we refer to "we", "us" or "Kitdesk" in this document, we mean DOMISSOUND Co.

2. What data we collect and why
When you join the Kitdesk early access waitlist, we collect:
- Your name — so we can address you properly when we get in touch
- Your email address — so we can contact you when Kitdesk is ready for you
- Your business name — optional, helps us understand who's interested
- Date and time of signup — for our own records
We collect this data on the basis of legitimate interest — you've asked to be kept informed about a product you're interested in. We don't collect anything we don't need.
3. What we do with it
- We send you an email to acknowledge your signup (coming soon — not yet active)
- We contact you when Kitdesk is ready for early access
- We may contact you occasionally with important product updates — never marketing fluff
- We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent
- We do not use your data for any automated decision-making or profiling
4. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in a MySQL database on servers hosted by Krystal Hosting, a UK-based hosting provider. Data does not leave the UK. Krystal are ISO 27001 certified and operate under UK GDPR.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist data until one of the following happens:
- You ask us to delete it
- You become a Kitdesk customer (at which point your data transfers to your account)
- 12 months pass without you becoming a customer, at which point we delete inactive waitlist entries
6. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access — ask us what data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction — ask us to stop processing your data
- Portability — ask us to provide your data in a portable format
- Object — object to our processing of your data

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Cookies
This site does not currently use any tracking cookies, analytics, or third-party scripts beyond Google Fonts (for typography). Google Fonts requests are made from your browser to Google's servers — see Google's privacy policy for how they handle those requests.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising tracking.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), server-side input sanitisation, and access controls on our admin systems. No system is completely secure — if you have concerns, contact us.
Full terms of service
We're finalising our full subscription terms of service. These will cover billing, cancellation, data handling for paying customers, service availability, acceptable use, and liability. They will be published here before Kitdesk opens for paid subscriptions — and you will be asked to accept them before your account goes live. If you have specific questions in the meantime, email
